"60 Minutes Special"

Watch this 60 Minutes special on the frustration many veterans are having trying to recieve benefits.

Saving Our Homeless Veterans’ & Comrades (SOHV&C), Inc.’s primary ministry will be that of “restoration.”  As the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Columbia, and others abroad, as well as community unrest, violence, and unemployment at home become more intensified, it is extremely important for us to provide our war returning Soldiers, Homeless Veteran Comrades and their immediate family members with the proper, well deserved, and much needed care and services. These centrally housed services will include spiritual counseling, psychological and psychiatric care, health and dental care, as well as housing (transitional to permanent) and job training.

We believe these “earned benefits” will properly assist them in transitioning back into civilian society, and will help take these veterans off the streets. SOHV&C, Inc. will be equipped to minister to and care for the known and unknown illnesses, family and social needs, and contingencies that will arise in our comrades daily lives, particularly surrounding the “mysterious killers” such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Suicide (attempts and completions), and the Socioeconomic Demise (homelessness); which are a few of the many illnesses and needless tragedies associated with post war veterans.

SOHV&C, Inc.’s vast undertaking in assisting our veterans with the proper re-acclimatization into society, will require your much needed prayers, donations (housing, as well as monetary), volunteer services, skills, and any other form of assistance you may feel led to offer.  Government Grants alone will not fulfill this overwhelming and tremendous need.  As stated above, the provision of these “earned benefits” for our homeless veterans is the least we can do to assist them in becoming vital and productive members within our society once again.  Particularly, since we as former Active Duty and Reserve Soldiers, gave up our civilian lifestyles and freedom (and sacrificed lives in some cases) in order to keep our country, the United States of America (USA), free from severe harm and destruction.

Therefore, please spare a moment of your time, select, and cheerfully give to a category of your interest from the provided branch of service icons & others.
Remember, God loves a “cheerful giver,” and not one that gives grudgingly.
Therefore, please give from the heart.  Thank you in advance!
